I was gifted this immaculate Canon 300D from about 2003. The 300D was an important camera, related to the then professional 10D but in a consumer friendly package. It retailed at $999.00 in the US with the now ubiquitous EF-S 15-55 kit lens. It boasts 6.3 megapixels a APS-C crop sensor, 7 autofocus points....Even the most humble smartphone can better all of its figures, but I wonder how far it can be pushed? I aim to find out! I am going to use this with some vintage lenses and some more modern. I am looking forward to playing with this!
