Tomorrow we start the first of many projects that we have lined up in 2024. Ruby and I will walk from the Hamble, along Southampton Water and into Southampton via Netley, Woolston and the site of the former Itchen Ferry Village, exploring the area to see how Southampton grew from its Roman Occupation into the vibrant, diverse city that it has become today. This will be a digital shoot, a proof of concept if you will, and we will return in the very near future with analogue cameras and lighting to take some dramatic shots in low light on film. Once this is done we will be looking at a walk from Hull to Liverpool to do further work on the 'Urban Forest'
